화장품브랜드 더페이스샵의 새로운 전속 모델인 배용준은 ‘더페이스샵 창립 5주년 기념 TV CF’ 에서 기타를 치며 노래를 흥얼거리는 모습을 선보인다.
이번 CF는 배용준이 그동안 방송이나 공식적인 자리에서 좀처럼 노래부르는 모습을 보여주지 않았다는 점에서 눈길을 끈다. 배용준은 지난 10월 중순 강원도 평창 대관령 목장의 오두막집에서 기타를 치면서 특유의 부드러운 목소리로 더페이스샵의 테마CM송인 ‘내추럴 스토리 더페이스샵’을 불렀다.
배용준은 “동화에 등장하는 음유시인이 된 것 같다. 노래 부르는 모습이 어색하지 않을까 걱정을 많이 했는데 오두막집의 분위기가 너무 좋아서 즐거운 마음으로 편하게 노래를 부를 수 있었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
특히 이번 CF 촬영에서도 한류스타 배용준의 인기는 식을 줄 몰랐다는 후문이다. 이날 대관령 목장으로 관광을 온 많은 학생들과 아주머니들은 관광버스를 중간에 세우고 배용준을 지켜보느라 장소를 떠날 줄 몰랐다. 배용준이 참여한 이번 CF는 오는 8일부터 전파를 탈 예정이다.
Hallyu star Bae Yongjoon disclosed his singing skills through a TV commercial.
Bae Yongjoon, who is the new model of cosmetic brand ‘The Face Shop’, will appear in a commercial marking the 5th anniversary of the brand playing a guitar and humming to the song.
The commercial catches the eyes of many, as Bae Yongjoon has never sung public before. Bae Yongjoon played the guitar and sang along in mid October at a cabin in a farm at Daegwanryung Pyungchang of Kangwon Province. With his uniquely soft voice, he sang the theme song of ‘The Face Shop’, ‘Natural Story The Face Shop’.
Bae Yongjoon said, “I feel like I am a poet in a fairy tale. I was worried that I may seem awkward singing, but the atmosphere of the cabin was so nice I was happy and comfortable singing.”
Staff members say Bae Yongjoon’s popularity seemed still very high filming the recent commercial. Many students and middle aged women who came to Korea on tour, stopped their cars and watched him film the commercial for quite a long time. Bae Yongjoon’s commercial will be released on the 8th.
